Home About chr32 The Name?
What's in a Name?

In web site design, there are a number of computer languages that may be employed to render the final desired page layout and interface besides HTML. VBScript is one of those languages, and in the language of VBScript, chr32 is code for a space. Yup, a simple, unextraordinary space between visible words. But, without the humble space, visual communication quickly becomesalmostindecipherableandmeaningless.

It is with a sense of irony that the chr32 studio adopted this nomenclature. Very little of what we do is directly visible to the end user and client. When we put our energies into a site's optimization for the search engines, clients only see their rankings improve. As we continuously monitor a brand's reputation, those who rely on us only become aware of our vigilance when they are informed of a problem. When we rework an ad campaign's placement, resources and copy, clients will only see conversions increase. In other words, few will be able to apprehend the efforts required to accomplish what we do, but all will be able to appreciate the end results.

As professionals, chr32 doesn't mind being invisible - we're content to be necessary.

Why should I upgrade to Internet Explorer 7? Microsoft has redesigned Internet Explorer from the ground up, with better security, new capabilities, and a whole new interface. Many changes resulted from the feedback of millions of users who tested prerelease versions of the new browser. The most compelling reason to upgrade is the improved security. The Internet of today is not the Internet of five years ago. There are dangers that simply didn't exist back in 2001, when Internet Explorer 6 was released to the world. Internet Explorer 7 makes surfing the web fundamentally safer by offering greater protection against viruses, spyware, and other online risks.
